Commissions, payouts and statements
When a guest books through a partner's link, the partner earns a commission. This page covers what happens next: approving it, paying it, and showing the partner where they stand.
Everything here is on the partner's own page: Network → Sending you guests → open the partner. Owners and managers only.
A commission's life
| Status | What it means |

| Pending | A booking came through this partner. Nothing is owed yet. |
| Approved | You've confirmed the booking counts. This is now money you owe. |
| Paid | You've recorded a payout that covers it. |
| Voided | It doesn't count — usually a cancelled booking. It's kept for the record but never owed. |
On the Commissions tab, use Approve or Void on each pending line.
Held for review
Now and then a commission is held — for example if a partner seems to be referring their own bookings. Approve will tell you it's held rather than silently failing. HiLucy reviews held commissions and releases them; there's nothing for you to do. Voiding a held commission always works.
Recording a payout
When you've paid a partner:
- Click Record payout (it appears once something is approved).
- Tick the approved commissions this payment covers.
- Enter the amount and how you paid — cash, bank transfer, and so on — plus a reference if you have one.
- Save. The commissions move to Paid and the payment appears on Payout history.
Recording a payout doesn't send money anywhere. It records a payment you already made. It's booked against your shop, so it shows up in your own reports as money your shop paid out.
The statement
The Statement tab answers "what do you owe me?" in three numbers:

| Paid in period | Payouts you recorded in those dates |
| Outstanding now | Everything approved and not yet paid — all time, whatever dates you chose |
Outstanding ignores the date range on purpose: a debt doesn't stop existing because you looked at a narrow window. The card says so, so nobody reads a small number as "settled".
Below the numbers is every booking behind them. Use Print / save as PDF to hand the statement to the partner.
What HiLucy handles
A few things stay with HiLucy rather than with your shop:
- The partner's bank details — you won't see or edit them here
- Automated payouts — bank-file and card-account transfers sent from HiLucy's side
- Held commissions — the review described above
